Are debt collectors harassing you, your family, or friends?  Debt collection activities including harassment, repeated/excessive phone calls, contacting consumers who are represented by attorneys, using obscene language in an attempt to collect debt are all common collection activities that are prohibited by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. The FDCPA also prohibits debt collectors from threatening suit on old debt that is past the Statute of Limitations. Minnesota's Statute of Limitations is six years.  If you feel that a debt collector has violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and you reside in Minnesota, please contact William Michelson by calling 612-821-4817 or fill out our contact form. Please allow at least three days for a response to your e-mail.
