After graduating from the University of Minnesota, Patrick was a lending manager and a credit analyst for a major Twin Cities area bank for more than 5 years. While attending law school at William Mitchell College of Law, Patrick competed in the Rosalie Wahl Moot Court Competition, and was a member of the William Mitchell Law Review. His article A Noose Around the Neck: Preventing Abusive Payday Lending Practices and Promoting Lower Cost Alternatives was selected for publication in Volume 35, Issue III of the William Mitchell Law Review Patrick has clerked for Marso and Michelson, P.A. since 2007. During this time, he interned for the Honorable Daniel Mabley on the felony block and represented clients for the Scott County Public Defenders’ Office for offenses ranging from gross misdemeanors to felonies and parole violations. Patrick is an aggressive advocate for Consumer Rights. Patrick sues debt collectors who violate the FDCPA and he sues creditors and debt collectors who violate the Fair Creidt Reporting Act. He represents consumers in various personal injury matters ranging from auto accidents to slip and falls. He assists consumers and small businesses who are seeking relief under the United States Bankruptcy Code. Patrick also practices in the area of Criminal Defense with an emphasis on DWI Defense.
