has been admitted to practice law in
the State of Minnesota since 1981.
He serves as an arbitrator for the
American Arbitration Association and
has been recognized as a "Super

Thomas G. Harrigan is a
lifelong resident of the Minneapolis area
and a graduate of the University of
Minnesota and William Mitchell College of
Law. During his twenty-five years of
practice, he has been proud to have
represented three generations of clients.
Tom Harrigan represents individual and
business clients in litigation and
arbitration of wrongful death,
personal
injury, and employment law claims. Tom
Harrigan also represents clients in
misdemeanor criminal cases. In
addition to his litigation practice, he
serves as a neutral arbitrator in personal
injury and employment related disputes.
He has been on the panel of arbitrators with
the American Arbitration Association for the
last 15 years. Mr. Harrigan
has been recognized as a “Super Lawyer” by
Twin Cities Business Magazine and Minnesota
Law & Politics. Most of Tom's clients
are referred by existing clients and local
attorneys who have continued to refer cases
to him for over 20 years.
Tom
Harrigan has obtained many substantial
settlements and verdicts on behalf of his
clients in various types of personal injury
and business litigation cases. Tom
Harrigan has negotiated the largest
settlement ever reported involving a civil
rights claim against a Minnesota
municipality. In that case Mr. Harrigan
obtained a settlement of $850,000.00 against
a city police department due to sexual
misconduct by a police officer committed
against a minor female. Mr. Harrigan
